Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Course

This course is presented in a retreat style with time set aside for discussion and personal reflection.
Modules from the curriculum may be taught in hybrid format, such as self-study or online presentation. Attendance is expected for the entire program unless other arrangements have been made ahead of time.
38 CNE’s are available: Saint Alphonsus Health System is approved as a provider of continuing nursing education by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Basic Schedule for this program is as follows:
Dates: November 7-10, 2019
Daily: Foundations Course will begin Thursday evening November 1st.
Daily sessions: Begin at 7:30 a.m. and conclude at approximately 8:30 p.m.
Conclusion: Commissioning Service and Pinning Ceremony on Sunday, November 10th. at 5:00 pm.

• Nurses of all faiths who want to serve the members of their faith community.
• Registered Nurses interested in whole person, spiritual-centered care.
• Nursing School Faculty introducing Faith Community Nursing as part of their nursing curriculum.
• Faith Community Nurses who have not previously attended a Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Course or Basic Preparation Course.
