Foundations of Faith Community Nursing Course (Face to Face) (This is a 6-day course, meeting on Mondays and Tuesdays)
November 4 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PST
Are you interested in body, mind, and spirit health and wellness?
“Faith community nursing” is a specialized community health practice of professional nursing that focuses on holistic health and wellness. Faith Community Nurses (FCNs) are registered nurses trained to provide care of the mind and spirit while working with and through a healthcare organization, a faith community, or the community-at-large. Spiritual care is the intentional care of all aspects of the life of a person: body, mind, and spirit, and is a skill required by most healthcare accrediting organizations. The FCN is knowledgeable in two primary areas – professional nursing and spiritual care.
If you have a heart that longs to relieve suffering and a mind for problem solving within your community, this is the course for you.
