2024 ANA Membership Assembly Info!
Hope you are all having a wonderful summer and staying safe and cool in the unpredictable weather we are having around our great nation.
I want to share with you what an honor it was to attend and represent HMA as the affiliate organization at the 2024 American Nurses Association Membership Assembly in Washington D.C. on June 27-29, 2024.
The ANA Membership Assembly was an amazing experience. I had the opportunity to network with nurse leaders from around the nation and participate in shaping the future of the profession of nursing. HMA is advocating for faith community nurses at the national level. Look for more information about the assembly and the great work being accomplished by ANA for nurses in the US and around the globe in a future HMA e-blast. One of the important time sensitive items announced at the assembly was the revision of the Code Of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements. The public comment period is open now, but only until July 31st 5:00 p.m. ET. Here is the link to view and formally make comments:
